Reading Published Review:

I have read a published review about the documentary of Cartel Land on IMDB. There were a decent amount of similarities from my reflection to the film to the published review. This review mostly focuses on when there was a scene in the film were a family lost 13 members in their family due to the cartel not getting what thy want. Another similarity would have to be when this review said this would probably be one of the best films that came out in Sundance I would agree I enjoyed this film and seeing different sides coming from Arizona Border Patrol and Autodefensas.

But there were a couple of  differences from this peer review compared to my reflection. For one, the review talked about how when Autodefenas were in Mexico detaining cartel the Mexican Army comes in and takes away their weapons and does not even go for the cartel. But eventually they end up gaining control and over power Army with all Autodefensas and towns-people. The review also commented on how they disliked the fact the Arizona Patrol was apart of the film, they said it would of been a better film if it just focused on what happen in Mexico grounds with the cartels. I could understand where this review was coming from when saying that but it was good that they included two sides of story relating to cartel detaining and killing.
